Biowaste derived volatile fatty acid platform for biopolymers, bioactive compounds and chemical building blocks (H2020, BIOTEC-02-2016)<\/h3>

Objective:<\/strong> The goal of the Volatile program was the creation of a Volatile Fatty Acids Platform (VFAP) based on the anaerobic digestion (AD) process, for converting fractions of municipal solid biowastes and sludge biowastes from other sectors, such as the food industry or wastewater treatment facilities, into volatile fatty acids (VFA).<\/p>
