Sustainable preservation of marine biomasses for an enhanced food value chain (ERANETs 2021\u0391 - E.U.)<\/h3>

Objective:<\/strong> The objectives of the program were to reduce food waste and increase the productive use of marine biomass by inventing innovative processing methods and developing ingredients that could serve as a basis for new food products.<\/p>

Contribution of LPAD<\/h3>
  1. The application of conventional spray drying and hot air drying for a comparative evaluation and analysis of the technologies used in the development of high-quality powders from fish protein hydrolysates (FPHs) and fractionated products.<\/li>
  2. Development of gluten and gluten-free bakery products (e.g., snacks, brioche) and evaluation of their shelf life.<\/li>
  3. Micro-encapsulation of natural antioxidants in packaging material using the technology of electrospinning and\/or extrusion.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
