Development of functional fish feed based on bioactive compounds of marine and herbal origin (H2020-MSCA-RISE-2020)<\/h3>

Objective:<\/strong> In this program, the development of innovative aquaculture feeds based on natural bioactive compounds that enhance the immune system of farmed fish was carried out. Specifically, various types of marine microalgae, as well as seaweeds and land-based herbal plants, were utilized with the goal of enriching the fish diet and potentially partially replacing fishmeal with cost-effective ingredients.<\/p>
