Path: new VALue landscapes for plant PROtein Pathways
(HORIZON-CL6-2021-FARM2FORK-01-02)-( VALPRO)

Objective: The objectives of the program included the co-creation, validation, and promotion of new models that enhance sustainable, circular, and transparent production of plant-based proteins for food and animal feed in the EU.

Contribution of LPAD

1. Assessment of the environmental, social, and economic impacts of the proposed IPS and comparison with the initial systems.
2. Ensuring the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of the proposed systems.
3. Identification of hotspots and areas for improvement in the proposed systems, aiming to minimize environmental, social, and economic impacts.
4. Cost estimation for proven high technology readiness level (TRL) crops at the farm level.
5. Evaluation of life cycle sustainability (LCSA) from a dynamic perspective.
