Strengthening competitiveness of agri-food SMEs through transnational Clusters (Interreg V -B Balkan-Mediterranean 2014-2020)

Objective: This program aimed at enhancing the capacity and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises to produce new, innovative, and improved agri-food products for national, regional, and international markets. This was achieved through the implementation of a robust set of actions that accelerated the collaboration of the 'Triple Helix' model, promoting innovation and technology transfer in the agri-food sector, as well as fostering the exchange of experiences and the analysis of best practices in this field.

Contribution of LPAD

Design and development of an ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) collaboration platform for the agri-food sector, hosting the key tools of the project (Toolbox, Educational Programs, Events, etc.) and functioning as the main collaboration medium for all team members. A FOCUS Toolbox has been developed, which includes essential support tools for SMEs in the agri-food sector, such as market research, technological offers and requests, regulations, SME profile creation, and more.
