Converting Facilities Network for accelerating uptake of climate neutral materials in innovative products (HORIZON-CL4-2022-RESILIENCE-01)-Convert 2 Green

Objective: In this program, an Open Innovation Test Bed (OITB) was established, enabling material suppliers to integrate their innovative, circular, and carbon-neutral solutions into European Core Value Chains. The potential application fields of the innovative solutions provided by the Convert2Green program through the Open Innovation Test Bed (OITB) included the following:

1. Clean Autonomous Vehicles, referring to technologies and systems that support autonomous vehicles with a focus on reducing carbon emissions, increasing energy efficiency, and utilizing green materials or processes.
2. Smart Health, Industrial Internet, focusing on the use of advanced materials and technologies in health applications (e.g., smart medical devices) and industry through the Internet for optimizing production and management with an emphasis on sustainability.
3. Low Carbon Industry and Clean Energy, with an emphasis on the use of innovative materials and methods that reduce carbon emissions in industrial processes. Thus, the Convert2Green program provides material suppliers with new business opportunities in these value chains.

Contribution of LPAD (coordinator)

Project Management: Daily management through WPLs, quality assurance, coordination of the project's General Assembly, as well as coordination of BAB and BI meetings. Upgrading production chains for the preparation of fibers and nanocomposite materials from carbon-neutral materials, using the electrospinning process and spray freeze dryer-extruder line technology.
